  • in this vid had you just cut the muffler off and added two glasspacks or what?

  • Ultimate Fisher Man. I have a 2004 2500HD 6.0L. Everything stock with 3.5" stock pipes. I'm ordering dual glass packs, but Cherry Bomb homepage calls for short 12" glass packs by 5" diameter. I want to avoid the loud bratty sounds of the higher frequencies. Any idea if the original longer glass pipes with smaller diameters kill the high frequencies better than these short fat ones? Your truck sounds great. It's what I'm aiming for.

  • Theres more to an exhaust than just the muffler. Your gunna do anythin at all might as well do it right and make people stare;) Start at the engine!

  • mxboy96....exhaust isnt the only thing ive done to my truck....i had it straight piped and made a video of before and after glasspacks

  • @ultfishrman Nice silverado. Love thr vortec motor's!! I will never own any othe truck than one of these. But, you could have gone the route I did. I cut out the muffler and put dual 6inch stack on my silverado/vortec. A bit extreme, but they look good, and sound phenomenal! Has anice loud deep chug to the exhaust now.

  • where did u get that glasspack at

  • i cant wait till i get my truck my dad keeps going back and forth from an 02 1500hd and an 04 f150 with the 5.4... told him i hate ford to get the chevy they are more comfterable to drive anyway

  • @texasdude302 I felt my 04 F150 was much more comfortable, and reliable, than my 2005 2500HD. So much I bought a 2007 F150 Lariat, even better. Both good trucks though.

  • sounds good. do you have an intake system? that would really increase the airflow and make a more open, throaty sound in the exhaust

  • haha i have the same truck

except mines 2003 and its black

what size inlets do u have on the glasspacks?

  • 3 inch

  • Sounds pretty good, but in my opinion it sounded a lot better with straight pipes.

Any the reason for the change?

  • it got me in trouble downtown. cops dont like loud street racers lol. and it was just too loud in the cab

  • how much does straight pipes cost, i dont know alot about it, but id appreciate a reply thanks

  • well its really easy and cheap really. just cut the muffler off, get a 10 dollar pipe to fill the space, and your done.
