I am sure that Nissan Engineers have thought of a V8 engine for the new GTR in the beginning. But the reason why they didn't go for a "LARGE DISPLACEMENT" V8 with 500~600hp and call it a day is because V6TT setup weight less however, producing big power. Therefore, better weight distribution.
Now, just can't wait to see 1000+hp VR38DETT being tuned by various tuner from Japan.

i think you should be. A 100+k for a Vette is too much, no matter how fast it will be. Low tech build and crap interior doesn't impress potential buyers. No matter, you keep your Vette, but don't cry when you get overtaken by GTR on freeway/track...
by the way ALL GTR's are assembled in japan NONE here

The current Z06 is as fast as certain Ferraris. The more powerful Zr1 has much more horse power than this car claims to have.
