@ohheyjill Thanks. Keep in mind that this is the 2nd gen version (I believe they are at 3rd gen now) that only does 720p at 30 fps. The current ones do 720p at 60 fps and have image stabilization, so I'm sure they are much smoother.

@xocaitlin88ox No there's a stabilization feature on imovie 09 that he's using. Trust me, though, it looks better with the stabilization feature on.

@LostGoblinProdLC Nope, just kind of kept a loose grip on it. I actually was just filming the scenery and happened to turn around as my daughter was getting ready to go down the slide. There's a much better copy in my description, Youtube's compression doesn't let you get a good feel for how the camera actually looks on an HD screen with raw video. It's still compressed, but much better than Youtube.

@texmexofkinfolk it should upload to 720p automatically if you're using this camcorder, it's very youtube friendly. you won't get 720p automatically because youtube has to process the video after you upload it, so give it some time.

@texmexofkinfolk yeah, windows movie maker wont accept it because the flip video produces mp4 videos, from what ive read. You have to convert it to wmv file first. The quality isnt that bad when you do so either..wont be as rich tho, unfortunately.

I agree with the shakiness to a point. You have to realize what you're getting. I am not going to be filming high speed car chases with mine. Just maybe so vlogs and my dogs etc...Think it is great for my purposes.

Agh.. I can't decide if I want one or not.. Sure it's HD but the FPS is really bad.. I want a camera that's $800+ but I won't use it often enough to make it worth while..
