I've always liked this Belafonte tune, I've spent my youth in the Tropics(Curacao) and fully understand the melancholy in this tune, many think it's an uplifted tune but in essence it's a "Caribbean Blues" if you listen to the vocals well. You did a great interpretation here,nice work and you're blessed with a good voice, Vic.
