I guess I don;t understand the mods? If you have those menu options, why unsloder the blobs, or, do you only get those extra menus if you do the unsoldering? As a Ham, I would be interested in non-channelized full coverage straight through all the freqs with very fine freq adjustment control. I'll check the website for those answers.

You could just add a custom switch for entering the start up menu.

We can't get that radio here in the Netherlands... but nice radio!
