this will not teach you how to play the drums, iv'e played a real drum kit for about 7 years now and i also play this from time to time, its is very fun but its not exactly like the real thing, the drum layout is way off, to play real drums your arms are crossed, with this there not, also all the drums are on the same level on this, whereas a real kit you have to lift arms ect to hit cymbals. All this will do is enable you to drum faster over time if your a newb, thats it really :P

this is an awesome game but just like guitar hero this wont teach you how to play drums properly, theres a lot more to it than it seems, trust me ive been playing for 7 years, but im defo gonna buy this game! hope that helps!

practice practice practice!!! basically all there is to it i mean i'm not anywhere near this guys talent but i'm not THAT bad, but all you got to do is just practice away theres no secret except relax n let ur wrists do everything for you and make sure your stick bounce off by using a light grip

Aye definitely don't keep a tight grip on the stick (but not so loose it flies out of your hand on harder hits) because if you don't you'll wear out on later songs (AJFA, Tom Sawyer etc. etc.)

Also, practice the alternating between the snare/toms and bass, like the first few seconds of Next To You would be one of the best and hardest examples. Also try getting fast double bass down (Ride the Lightning, Highway Star, Tom Sawyer) if you get those 2 down, you can do most anything on the bass pedal

pookie the gamer: this may sound stupid but it works. i look up easy videos (usally by "Demonwolf21") sometimes medium. and i bassicly tap my look at the screen and tap my hand to the right for blue farther right for green left for yellow and father left for green and tap my foot on the ground when i see a bass...i know it sounds stupid and it looks kinda stupid to but it works! (for me at least)
