Theres also a Mental Illness Called "lycanthropy" - in which he/she believes they have transformed into a werewolf (I believe it has something to do with there past life re-occurring in there current) - Look it up on Wikipedia .

But from what history tells us from the myths, legends lead me to believe that they do exist.
