  • @Jhuztyce Aww thank you :) I'm glad you like it!

  • cute

  • oo....i love this. i made a bubble skirt but i took my fabric, folded it in half, and pleated. though yorus is slightly more complicated, you used less fabric! so yay for saving money!

  • @runswithscissors83 Yeah, I did it that way because I wasn't sure if I had enough fabric. It's fabric my mom bought a LONG time again and then somehow I ended up with it.

  • love your sewing machine <3 great tute!

  • @rainbowkolache Thanks :) I picked that machine up at the thrift store last year for just a few dollars!

  • I love the skirt! I have some material now I'm going to get started tomorrow!

Also, can you make a tutorial on making a bible cover/case (with zipper & handle)? I would love to learn how to make one so I can make my daughter & nieces one! Thank you :)

  • Yay! You're back...love the the skirt. I might try it pretty soon.

  • @anacskie Hehe...I'm trying to be back. It's a little harder now to find time to film, but I'm working at it. I hope you try out the tutorial and send a picture of how your skirt turns out :)

  • I liked to see the way you did your pleats. I've always been intimidated by pleats for some reason, so this was helpful.

  • @jatoha Glad it was helpful! :)

  • Nice tutorial! I might try it if I have some time in the summer :). I love Addie's blog as well, you two are so inspiring!

  • @frogswhatfrogs Thanks! I'm glad you liked the video and yes, Addie is very inspiring! I love looking at all the pics of the dresses she makes!

  • i really like this tutorial

  • wow! love the skirt! its really cute!

  • Yay for upcoming recon vids!

Very cute skirt, I could totally see this with some hidden side pockets C:

  • @dierdrelefae Yeah, I was thinking the same thing...but I've never done side pockets and wasn't even sure how the skirt would work out. Maybe I'll add some next time, it would be a good challenge for myself.

  • I don't think it'd suit me, since these kinds of skirts don't suit bigger women, but nice video...

I wonder lately how to easy make a petticoat, that has the ruffles not directly from the top on, but at the bottom, so that it would look good ... even on me! =) I bought one two years ago, but I would like to make one by myself, but can't figure out, how it works. Any ideas?

    Greetings from Germany, Laura

  • Very good tutorial!

  • wow i really like that sktrt tutorial... wondering if you are able to make a tutorial on a long skirt ...:) thank you
