Yawn... more options. It's not radically different from what an ordinary laptop has to offer. So you get to scroll and access things a little easier, resolution a litte improved. It's about the same size as a laptop screen. Techno buffs can knock themselves out with this one or perhaps line up at midnight to buy this to show how sad they are.

@TheNOOBPWN Nevermind, I found out! Apple times it so when Steve Jobs unveils a new product, it will be forty minutes into the keynote, which started at 9. So when they put the first picture up iPad up on the screen, it was not more than a couple minutes off of the actual time of the unveiling. Cool, huh?

for one, the screen is bigger alowwing for higher resolution videos and apps and better web browsing

two, the processor is 1GHz, (consider that 4-5 years ago that is what was in the average computer, now its in your hands) this is going to allow app developers to expand there apps to do much more marvelous things, as if they were real programs.

three, it is html5 compatible, if you dont know what that means, read up on it!

I have a macbook pro 13", that owns your netbook both in performance and build quality, but as I said, it has nothing to do with the iPad.

This is an ultra light, ultra thin, full multi touch device, more like a book then a PC or notebook.

I WILL BUY AN IPAD! The platform is amazing people need to learn it will be amazing. It will change how I use my computer as lots of companys are recreating there programs for ipad. also you can watch youtube and vimeo and many other sites and games as there is HTML 5 an alternative to flash also flash CS5 will let developers export to iPad format so you will see your favourite flash games in app format!
