When he was bowling the last over against SA in world cup he was suffering from stiff back pain but Dhoni was optimistic about his previous record in death overs. As far as Munaf Patel is concerned, he is a big lazy fellow and should have not bowled the last over against England instead it should be bowled by spinner since England sucks in playing spin on subcontinent pitches.

Kapil also was laboring a hamstring which got worse in the next few series. In fact Kapil retired 3 months later.
