@tanio12 Do your research. The district courts in South Carolina, Delaware, and Virginia all ruled that their states had to bring the black schools up to par with white schools. The schools in Kansas were already equal. The SCOTUS did not rule in favor of integration because of any inequality in teachers' pay, facilities, or curricula between white schools and black schools.

The schools in Kansas were already equal. The SCOTUS did not rule in favor of integration because of any inequality in teachers' pay, facilities, or curricula between white schools and black schools.

It's done more for Africa (AIDS treatments, charitable giving, safe haven for refugees, vaccines, international aid, etc.) than the rest of the world combined. If you're so angry about exploitation of Africa's resources and people, then your frustration would be better off pointed at China and Western Europe.

They have no interest in Africans helping themselves, just bribing African dictators long enough to separate them from their resources. Look at the Chinese operations in the Congo mining rare earth metals for your "blood iPhone", or the massive bridges to nowhere they build in Liberia.

Unfortunately, in an attempt to engage countries diplomatically, you have to talk to the people in charge, whether they are there fairly or not. If by "support" you mean we dealt with questionable African leaders, then you're right, but diplomatically speaking, you deal with almost anyone, and Africa has never had a wealth of good statesmen. In fact, aside from Ellen Sirleaf, find an honest one.

If we left Africa alone, everyone would cry that we're heartless and don't care for our fellow man. We don't care about appeasement. There's no way to "win" in Africa. West is right. Democrats do take Black voters for granted. For decades Democrats have screamed about how much they help the Black community, yet the state of the Black community has not gotten any better under liberal policies.
The best thing anyone can do for themselves (Black, White, Hispanic or otherwise) is stay in school, get a college degree and wait until you get married to have kids. Do those 3 things and you have a good chance of being successful without needing govt. assistance.
