Elements is the budget version of Photoshop. It's on version 8 now.

You have no idea how much fun picture editing is when you use both - Photoshop cs3 & Elements 7. You can make a cartoon pic as good as you want without the usage of 6-10 layers! I have made some unreal pics with both of these programs and I never get bored. This tutorial along with the many here on youtube are a privalege to have, It takes a lot for people to share info like this to help us out. Many thanks to the people that bring us these videos.

Ah Bamboo Craft, I don't think it comes with it that might be why you didn't get it, I think the Craft is more for scrapbooking or somethng of that sort. So that sucks, but I think the Craft might be ok

elements is poopoo, lol its just sort of the 'basics' of photoshop, photoshop cs4 is the whole shabang, with much much much much more editing tools, ajustments etc. :D

Elements is mainly used for basic editing and photo corrections i can say on behave on any graphic designer that Gimp is way better the PSe (photoshop elements)
