I've always like the way Lemmy does not stand nonsense.

I saw Motorhead at Donington in '86, Lemmy laying it on the line to the bottle throwers: "OK you sons of bitches, one more piece of shit lands up here I'm fucking going"

And a year later at the St David's Hall: "Some shithead out there just spat at me for entertaining him. If you'd like to come up here I'll smack you in the fucking mouth pal! Fuck you, you ignorant shit!"

Pete Gill was pretty great. The studio tracks with him are RAUCOUS... especially the first four on No Remorse; Locomotive, Snaggletooth, Killed, Steal. They always blow me away. In my opinion there is NO bad Motorhead lineup.

Well funny cos when I look at yer channel I see Shakespeare, Laurence Olivier. Great actor of course, 'though I have a huge love for Richard Burton as a dramatist. I liked Olivier endlessly as the 'Angel of Death' in Marathon Man.

Strange thing is, I always thought that Motorhead and the Lemster had very much to do with pure Britishness and Shakespeare, but I cannot pin it down what it is. Ain't a literary scholar...
