@meast36 Your straw man interpretation of Smileys worldview, as well as your caricature of Wests politics, is as unimpressive as it is false. There's no evidence to support your accusation of bigotry—in fact, just the opposite. West is self-effacing, inclusive (he frequently mentions whites when speaking about liberty and class struggle), and never blames the "white man" (ie you) for anything. He DOES criticize the white supremacist superstructure, but thats something altogether different.

I appreciate this man so much. Not only for his intelligence and profound sense of analysis, but he appears to be so humble, loving, approachable and just so darn comfortable in his own skin. His spirit is so mesmerizing.

I can listen to Dr. West talk about breakfast cereals, but he uses the word "right" in a way so abstract, it's wrong and borderline authoritarian. I'd love to discuss morality, ethics and rights with him.... Hopefully, in an interview.
