Wicked! If only it was truly possible to translate The Dark Tower to TV. I'm reading the last book now and it's complex.

excellent books. did the last one make you cry yet? i cried my eyes out throughout that damn book. i cant see either movie or tv doing the books justice. no-one but eastwood could play roland, and the vision is just too large to fit on to a movie reel, i think. hope you enjoy the last book. i did, then immediately picked up the gunslinger and started again. you will understand more why when you finish the last one. enjoy!

I did read the last one. Such tragedy amongst the Gunslinger's pards.
I think Viggo Mortensen would make an excellent Gunslinger.

and could you resist reading the ending? even though stephen king said not to? i couldnt help myself, even though it was just an awful ending for roland.
i also thought of viggo for roland, but he is still a little young. christopher walken would make a good man in black i think

yeah, but it was the ideal ending though as well. at least i thought so. and he has that tiny glimmer of hope with him finding his heart with the tet, then the next time he remembers the horn, so it is slightly different. in his dreams he always winds the horn of eld, but when he gets there he doesnt have it, so maybe it will be alright this time... then again? but with his obsession for the tower, he kinda asked for it didnt he? but i felt really bad for him, then read the gunslinger again
