I am indifferent to Katy Perry and her music. I checked out her rendition of Electric Feel because I wanted to see how she covered it. I myself don't like it too much. Being the hardcore MGMT fan that I am, I'm used to the musical stylings of MGMT and bands like MGMT. What Katy is doing is completely different from the original. I am not supporting Katy's cover, nor am I bashing it. All I am saying is that it is drastically far from being my cup of tea.

Electric Feel by MGMT is one of my most favorite songs of all time. I literally could not bring myself to listen to this version of the song for more than 20 seconds, it was that horrible. How could she think she can just take a wonderful song and sing it differently and expect it to be good? She took the soul out of a great song and left nothing but a sloppy mess.
