Hello ! I think possible to fix just not nice after the sale price . This on Amazon $ 600 . I planning to buy but i have to add the fixing price. Maybe the company inspired and will change stronger parts . I hope you vill fixed and have some good bike adventure will this trailer. Just i like to ask one. Granted not ideal, it looks like this could be fixed by replacing that whole assembly with some better parts. Almost bought this, thanks for the heads up.
@CandDWedding You're welcome! I believe that a set of 4 stainless steel bushings custom machined to replace the bronze ones would partially solve the problem. The other problem is the axles, their diameter is too small. On the second trailer I got from Amazon.com one of the axles had thread diameter so amall that the nut was jumping off the threads & WOULD NOT TIGHTEN as a result. You might get stainless steel parts made at a local machine shop as a reasonable price in the current economy.
