Think about the capabilities of this... it's not so scary when the Doctor is repeating what Sky says, so to speak, but it would be if he was saying 'Throw me out!' or 'Kill me!' and nobody knew it was Sky...
@MEareCAT That and how one person standing up can make all the difference. Without the hostess doing what she did, sacrificing herself to save one man she had just met, the season finale would have ended with the apocalypse. Doing the right thing against adversity is hard, I choose to see that as the moral personally.
No...Not vile...More Desperate. These people were on a strange world that would kill them just by looking out a window, trapped in a small closed space with a woman possed with only god knows what, repeating then predicting everything they would say for some unknown reason. Not to mention the fact that two people had already died. Now the man they thought had all the answers had apparently succumbed to what ever that thing was.
THis was not evil It was the darker side of Survival

That moment when The Doctor says "The Hostess. What was her name?" is one of the saddest things ever.

This episode reminded me of the classic Twilight Zone episode "The Monsters are Due on Maple Street"

Who else thinks that 0:39 when she says "Molto Bene" and "Allons-y", was one of the the creepiest moments of Doctor Who.
