@Iafeta1000 Yes I think the same. Should be a six. His first two touches with the ball were fine, but at his last touch with the ball when he was airborne, the last contact of his foot was from outside boundary. So it should be a six.
People react to catches and take some , some dive and it falls into thier hands, some are flexible enough to dive and reach a certain area but this is the kind of catch which needs every presence of mind, composure , technique, flexibility, and brilliance.
The best catch ever for me but i do not feel wrong with Ravi Shastri there as randomking said. Anyways, i watched this live so then the commentry felt different as well and was justifying to that current situation.
@pseudofool well at least you arnt being arrogant unlike everyone e on utube, i personally havr followed cricket for about 13 years very closely and commentators have a hard job, they cant go hyper over every wicket. but i respect your opinion
its funny how the best catch IN THE HISTORY OF CRICKET was taken in the IPL which started 3 years back.....when the game of CRICKET started in mid 1800's
Mr. Ravi shastri there is a video on the right side " Best catch Ever in Cricket History !!!.wmv" watch that so you can know how to give a commentary when you witness a great catch

haha...hussey made it difficult for himself..he should have caught it in the first attempt..it was not clean so it popped out.I have seen many fielders recently do these sort of stunts to just get some praise...
You suck Mr. Ravi Shastri... that guy takes one of the best catches in the cricket history, and you don't have enough sense or vocabulary to praise him for its real worth... lameass..I just wish Tony Greig was there instead of you!!!
@pseudofool I thought I was the only one who hated Ravi Shashtri. His commentary is all forced and akward. He's probably ruined more indian matches than everything else in this world combined. Someone please kill him.
@pseudofool Yeah, Tony Greig would have been great on commentary... 'Oh, he's dropped it, it's six, no he got it, no he's dropped it, he's caught it, did he catch it'??!!
@saintcasper91 better than "what an effort" ain't it? Shastri seems as excited as gay man watching straight porn. Except when Yuvraj or another Indian is there. Same with Gavaskar, who has all his adjectives reserved only for Tendulkar, and also too biased towards their own nation which is not their job as commentators. Now I'm an Indian and a big fan myself, but it annoys me where credit's not given properly and it makes us look a tad bit narcissistic.
So my cricket record has some relation with my sense of judgement of praise/appreciation? These kind of arguments haven't been valid since primary school mate.
@pseudofool why did u assume in a physical cricketing sense? Not good to make leaps of assumptions, Im sure uve not become a great media expert on the game either. So take refuge behind your keyboard and type bravely.
The last one to post wins the debate, ain't it? It could go on forever, but I stop at this. I really don't like how biased Shastri and Gavaskar when they act as commentators. And yes, not a big cricketing fan/expert either, but I think my opinions are fairly justified in terms of content. If not, well, its just an opinion after all, isn't it?
@fkmian The ICC have made it that you can't go beyond the boundary rope to bring the ball back in. Even if your feet aren't touching the ground when you go over the boundary.
Thats a six he didnt get back in play before catching it. Good effort though

Great effort by Hussey, but that should have been held onto first time. Nowhere near the best in history.
