It's use in this game is probably because of the connection to France.

It has been re-released on PSN for $5.99, as was it's predecessor a week or so earlier. That was the only way I could play it... I'm just glad EA was wise and left MOH and MOHU untouched, rather than make a half-hearted remake of a classic PS1 title.

Damn, Jacques is one of the best shots in the entire MOH series. Not only can he kill everyone in sight, but he actually(gasp) automatically reloads after he kills someone. That wasn't even in Frontline or Allied Assault! :O

Two canteens, I believe. They just stick so many healing items in the first missions that it's needless to find them all, unless you have a run of bad luck with a petrol bomb or two.
