  • imagine that beast with slick tires.in a tight corner will pull 2g

  • @geotsouk you will pull more lateral G's in a higher speed not as tight corner.

  • that evo corners retarded fast

  • Why does he tap the brake before he begings to brake before the turn? Is it for weight transfer or is it like to warn cars behind that he is soon to brake?

  • @Polishsebbe im no pro or anything, but i assume he does that right before doing heel toe method to slow down the wheelspeed of the car a lot more so that he doesnt have to synchro rev match for a longer period of time

  • @impeccable24 Thank mate you did take me back to this video! Yes maybe I don't know when i look at the video he does that left foot brake tap in the fast corners, it must be because to shift the weight to decrease understeer or something... Gonna look at the video a fex times to check if thats right. You have to look at the track map and och his driving at tha same time though :P

  • @impeccable24 he did it on the straight but a really smal tap maybe it wasn't intetional..

  • The powershifting on the back straight towards the end was exciting!

  • @tambunansumlang what do you mean? he's powershifting the whole time.

@Polishsebbe yes i noticed that too, seems really weird. i don't think it has any meaning, more like a spastic move, maybe womething in his shoe haha. someone who know more can enlighten us? he soes it 2 times in this video, so sth must be going on.

  • Too much G-force = toothaches?

  • that evo looks so sick going around the track

  • That is one SICK Evo!

  • 3:31 damnit im jealous

  • @ddntforgett... missfiring system.. look it up great invention

  • can someone plz explain to me the techs and reasons for this kind of Backfire/Afterfire.

I've just noticed that once at high revs, and the engine brakes, the exhaust spits fire. plz explain!!

  • @ddontforgett Running RICH with race fuel, no catalytic, when you lift-off the throttle after hard input, unburnt petrol is ignited in the exhaust system.

  • Man the evo 9 is sick!!! Evo FTW!!! I wonder if guys in their evo really shift like that because that's some badass no lift shifts...

  • awesome footwork.. heel and toe ..

  • these Japanese are funny , tune a car into perfection = yes

learn english = no !! lool

  • @jobranLB They are hilarious and there's no point for them to learn English if they live and race in Japan lol.

  • Pad knock off would be the words some of you are looking for ;) . a tap or two prior to hard braking is to build pressure because of pad knock off as the pads recede a little in the calipers. This in turn creates a firm pedal again ready for the hard braking.

The comment about "shift the balance for over/understeer" is somewhat correct in rallying. not so much for the track. You car should be dialed in to a point where you do not need to manipulate the line on the track.

  • @WWEVOIX unless your cars running on rails your gonna have one or the other. I know evo's are good and im not hating on them, but seriously. get your head outta your ass. every car has ups and downs, thats why we love them.

  • Tarzan Yamada is nothing to fuck with on the track!!!!!

  • クソえ

  • God damn, Yamada is small.

  • Thumbs up who is a fan of CYBER EVO and Eiji YAMDA!!!

  • que onda con el pelos valientes prece naruto jajajaja tsucuba

    unos subtitulos no estaria mal

  • que onda con el pelos valientes prece naruto jajajaja tsucuba

  • 7:19 fail at being cool

  • The only thing that can beat an Evo in Time Attack is a better Evo.

  • why did he press the brake with his left foot first ??????

  • @chinocr so shift the balance of the car and counter some understeer.

  • @ChingMan09 wow!!!!

  • @chinocr

After a hard brake the pad usually tend to get some "space".If you don't do anything at the next turn you press the brake and for 1-3 cm of brake travel you don't feel any strong braking (so you risk to have unexpected long braking distance).By pumping on the brake you can realign the right distance and have the brake pedal ready and "hard" for the next brake.

  • @TakumiFujiwara80 Because the brake pad's composite gets soft from the friction against the disk rising temperature and once it cools down it will get back to normal. Unless u weared them out already. And i also agree with your theory because the servo pressure drops as the brake lines tend to expand (even those high pressure lines) tend to do that when you go hard on the pedal! These are the factors causing this.

  • jesus what a sick evo. looks like its even oversteering at times.

  • haha his kicks rock so hard. im gonna get me a pair like his now Lol.

  • I LOVE HIS DRIVING SKILL, AND POWERSHIFTING ALLMOUST ALL GEARS

  • the heel tow manover at 3:35 lol

  • Both cars are just amazing

  • Yes, AsianGirl lover.

But it looks more street legal than HKS' lol

  • god that car looks good....

  • Cyber Evo is slower than the HKS Evo, right?

  • Nope, Cyber Evo is faster around Tsukuba

  • @Parag0n

How in the heck did you come up with that????????????

Where did you get your info???

How do you figure the Cyber evo is quicker around Tsukuba than the CT230r??

  • I forgot about the HKS CT Evo, didn't Taniguchi crash it years ago at Tsukuba?

  • The unpainted CT230r did YEARS ago, but it was fixed, and made better in every way..... but that was also years ago.... CT230r has been running in its current form for awhile now.... and is quicker than the Cyber evo.

  • @Parag0n

actually the hks ct230r is still the quickest car around tsukuba, cyber evo have done it at 54.925, the hks is at 53.589, also the m-speed r34 gtr is at: 54.481, the fastest lap record at tsukuba is 51.875 by Tsuchiya in the arta nsx

  • this thing is fuckin fast

  • pak...crazy foot work...hahha...GO GOKU GO!!!

  • your fukin sick. he looks like goku from dragonball z.

  • Its funny how a 4 door sedan can make a turn as fast as a F1.

  • @skyman95946 "impressive" more than "funny", but it is funny when the haters try to discredit this BEAST, lol... Though I do wish the CT23r would have kept improving on their record(s)....

  • what was the time?

  • Beautiful car

  • Dude looks like a Super saiyan.

  • HAHAHA!!! XD good one! LMAO!

  • The driver looks like Japan's answer to Johnny Rotten...

  • メガネオチター

  • Awesome car,Evo rules!

  • lol, i love how the guy almost passed out after not seeing a crash...

  • i think it was because he could've gotten 53" but the car was in the way so the swerve caused a higher lap time.

  • No way that swerve cost him .7xx of a sec.

  • It would have easily cost him .7xx.....

  • he lost traction

  • Nice footwork @ 3:33!

  • Mr. Garage HRS aka Cyber Evo guy

Dentist + Lancer Evolution tuner + MMC Ralliart fleece = success and happiness

  • wtf dont they post the time for that last lap shown?

  • well, it is a super time attack car. it's 4wd, light, turbo charged. perfect for straights and corners.. no wonder it's faster than NSX and RX7's in the corners..

  • japan made very good car electronic

  • Anyone know what suspension specs he's using?

  • I think it's TEIN

  • dude really!! i have the magazine right here its modified mag and it says " let's put it this way, remeber the tsukuba purpose built time attacker? widebody evo ring a bell? this impreza is barely 2.5 seconds shy of their track record of 54.759." i am just telling you how i read it.

  • 2.5seconds at Tsukuba is alot.

  • and their record is down to 53.xx now

  • Saying that, Eiji is using a GDB now.....

  • The owner of the Cyber Evo (In the red Mitsubishi jacket) says "Oh my heart!" when Tarzan whips past the White FD3s on the final straight.hehe

  • yeah dude but beware because the zero/sport's impreza also made a good time he was short of beating the evo for 2 seconds given the fact that the are new in this

  • The Zero/Sports GDB was never within 2 seconds of the Cyber EVO at Tsukuba. It has nowhere near the amount of development time as the Evo.

  • Awesome, my favorite time attack car.
