If you jump cancel with enemy step and coyote-a you can get rid of Mephisto and Faust Cloaks quickly.

Pretty much, but you have to use the analog stick as well, to make sure you are close to its head.

Use a quick from A to X button motion, while guiding your character with the analog stick.

So it is pretty much, jump, AX, AX, AX

It works much faster when you combine it with charge shot too.
