if u took a kennedy from absolutely no where right now, who was just hanging on the street, and made him a candidate, he'd get more votes than obama, because the name represents a strength and real honesty, loyalty to true american ideals u cant get anywhere else in politics right now or since bobby. more genuine people in federal politics please.
The point is, we will never know. The wild cards were the delegates from several large states whose slates were not selected through binding primaries, including Illinois. Also, the disposition of McCarthy delegates--what would they have done at the convention if forced to choose between Humphrey and RFK? My view is that the outcome was neither a slam-dunk for Humphrey (as this clip would seem to indicate), nor a slam-dunk for RFK (as many pro-Bobby revisionists seem to assume).
@josephgeorge1009 President Kennedy was murdered in Nov 1963.Back then Robert Kennedy was the US Attorney General.Since 1965, he had been a senator from New York.In March '68, just at the last minute almost, he announced for his candidacy for the presidency of the US. In June '68, he was assassinated. The clip that you see here is from June 5, the night of which he was shot & died the other day. He was killed because, he might have won the majority of the democrats and had become the president.
