From a songwriter, let me tell you that was a phenomenal performance of a Dolly Pardon song :). Considering the setup, equipment,  and the fact you seldom stand when singing, you would have a tough time outdoing this effort.. In fact, I believe you outdid both Dolly and Whitney, each of whom have difficulty performing this song nowadays as they originally did. Best of luck in all your future endeavors.

Ooo, this is beauuuutiful! You bring out the softer, more gentle side of this song, I love it. I always thought whitney was too rough on the song, put the notes out there with too much vigor. it's supposed to be a sad love song, and you seriously, honestly kicked its ass. Well done, I <3 it much!

Why are you not in the recording studio?

To dare to attempt this song is a tall order indeed. You've got spirit young lady.

You need to create an original and sing like this but, don't go as high.

Yes I do think you have potential. First thing I would suggest is you drop the use of inferior recording. It does you no favours. Second, I would suggest you take serious your talent and advantage of youth & good lucks. Third, I would ask, are U aware of the the pitfalls of fame? Seriously, they can be bad. Fourth, I would suggest you keep on with creating your own songs. Doing covers is associated with Karaoke singers.

Topdog--I totally agree with you! I am a total fan of Lisa and I know they made a BIG mistake by not taking Lisa on their show. Lucky will be the record producer who signs her! I can't wait to see the day. Lisa reigns!
