Good God!..What a fucking performance...This is what playing a guitar should sound like..My god its just mind numbing!..This performance should be in the rock & roll hall of fame...Its what a guitar should sound like...SRV!!
this aint 27.3.1983. stevie played Antone's, Austin, TX on that date, i dnt htink he played rockline. i have this posted on my channel, i have it down Live On Rockline Radio Station, New York, NY (7.3.1989), he also played travis walk there. i may be wrong but i am sure
Oh God. Last night I was crying when I heard this my headphones cranked up as Willie G would say. The year? I only can tell what I hear. This is my opinion. Can´t be 89, Sober Stevie. Sorry folks, this is too good. Fire on the strings. 85? No , Stevie was too lazy then. I mean tired. So I believe this is 83! There isn´t any point why this couldn´t be 83. And what the heck. Do you hear the blues in this song? If you don´t...And the Oscar goes to Stevie´s Blues by the BluesVaughan.
This is from the same rockline performance that Stevie played travis walk. You can hear Chris jammin the phone book. Its '89. I have the whole thing uncut. Its the same show. Promise
Also, you can hear when Stevie switches to the Roger Mayer pedal (whenever his guitar squeals like shit. Thats the roger mayer and of course Stevie). He didnt start using that till maybe late '88. I'd bet my life its '89
Thanx. It´s nice to know that Sober Stevie was this good. What I like the most is his rhytmic changes . When he fools around, many times with lower strings.
yeah something sounds more focused about his playing here. pretty sure there's a octavia pedal going on in there which he played with later on in his career...just dorkin' out over that...
este lo tengo publicado!!! temasoooooooo fijate que los yanquis tirando data en los comentarios en mi video!!! cosas de las cuales no tenia idea!!! arriba SRV!!!!!!!!

If you wanted to know he slams on the pedal at 3:56. its pretty sick. And hits a huge bend at 4:27. Just gives me chills

I think that this is 1989, at least that is how I have it listed, doesn't sound to me like The Soul To Soul sessions...

Este tema tocado por SRV es la caña. No me canso nunca de escucharlo. Lastima que no haya otro de mejor calidad de sonido.
