@KruNae Sorry to say that you haven't been in Iraq. We have less than 42,000 troops in Iraq. 2 years ago we had 160,000 troops stationed in iraq. Iraq is stabilizing and the government of iraq is gaining more and more power. in five years the Iraq military will have more than enough power to fend for them selfs, They are becoming more and more independent as we speak. 5 years there will be less than 5,000 troops without a doubt. Do some research before you talk.

Nobody but soldiers on the ground, both iraqi and american, know how difficult a job it is to be there, especially in Sadr City. Al Sadr had had multiple opportunites to embrace the US involvement because we gave him the chance to lead his people. I understand that many people oppose our role in Iraq, but the soldiers are in a very tough fight and we have to accept that there will always be wars, there will always be casualties, and we have to respect both sides for the price they are paying.
How can we respect the other side, they dont take prisoners, they hide behind their hoe's, they stockpile munitions in Mosque and arent following the Geneva Convention....The French Marque carried out a similar insurgency in their own country, and were executed by the Germans. They are unlawful combatants, in fact we should carpet bomb their cities with the assholes that we capture making or emplacing IEDs. :)

The initial main effort of the wall was 1-2 SCR and C Company 1-68 AR 3 BCT 4 ID. Take no offense, 1-6 did not show up and take over a full shift on the wall until the last week of building. Nobody but soldiers on the ground, both iraqi and american, know how difficult a job it is to be there, especially in Sadr City. Al Sadr had had multiple opportunites to embrace the US involvement because we gave him the chance to lead his people. I understand that many people oppose our role in Iraq, but the soldiers are in a very tough fight and we have to accept that there will always be wars, there will always be casualties, and we have to respect both sides for the price they are paying.

Reading is sure a knowledgeable means, and that's what everybody who have truly understood the reason behind this war has done. But it hits you right on the face that this war is just for the OIL. When a country is occupied by an alien country for OIL or other means,they find different means of which suicide bombing is one, to get the aliens out of their much loved country. The media propogates these acts, adds their share and surely people believe what they read. But facts are not coming out.

I have a couple of Marine friends, they had to shoot some little kid because his FATHER put a little suicide vest on him and was waiting nearby with a det switch. Who the fuck makes little kid suicide vests!!!! When they found the father they shot him too. The Russians wouldnt even do something like that. I understand what you are saying though, about the oil thing though :( We are their for many reasons, most of them are humanitarian. Some economic.

When there are patriotic iraqi's there will surely be U.S soldier deaths. This is nothing new, when you invade a country this is pretty natural. There are thousands of Iraqi's being killed innocent kids losing limbs and killed does this come out in the news. It would be even worse if these videos and pictures come out.

The vast majority of civilian deaths are caused by Iraqi suicide bombers engaged in sectarian violence. You think our media is skewed but I'm beginning to wonder if they even acknowledge the fact that there's suicide bombings every single day. I'm sure an IED has NEVER killed an Iraqi as well. Seriously, read something.

Iraq movies will turn this war's legacy into an action flick, so Americans won't (and don't) take it seriously, and the rest of the western world is already completely convinced that American G.I.'s wake up, ruthlessly slaughter children for 18 hours, then go back to bed.
