We can't help feeling the monotony and nihilism when existence seems pointless with so much pain and hurt in the world to no apparent end.. BUT! We can't keep being down! It's ok to feel helpless against the world once in a while like in this song, but still we should be able to stand up and keep moving forward!! :)
I love Voltaire's music because he has a song to express just about every emotion.
In an interview, Voltaire was asked to explain what is "Goth" and he said that as humans its only natural that we get sad and so Goth formed as a rebellion to the idea that we shouldn't be sad by saying "Yes, we do get sad sometimes, and to prove it we're going to be sad all the time."
So it's nice to know that when I feel messed up on the inside, I can go to his song and hear the feeling put into words.
