Yes, it doesn't matter where your protien comes from, and you also don't need as much as the marketer's tell us (and a lot doesn't build muscle; just depletes calcium). So.......
...just eat food: fruit, veggies, and (if you want) beans, grains and nuts.
Grass fed Whey Protein Isolates ARE a waste of money. However, Grass fed Whey Protein CONCENTRATE still has fat content in it. What's your take on this???
@jimmysmithtraining I just want to say thanks for the great info on this vid. I use to buy Jay Robb's Whey which is only 22 servings per $40 bucket. Now I buy Optimum all natural whey, which is 72 servings per $42 bucket. Big difference. And I only use it for a post workout, rest of my diet comes from whole foods. Thanks for exposing some of the so called organic companies.
I think you are passing along some very good information. Its good to see someone who is using common sence and experience. But i gotta say, watching your vids is very painful. I'm sure you've been told before that you talk way too fast and way too much. You took almost 10 mins to say what could have been said in 3 mins. And often you use language that only experienced people can relate to, maybe thats your goal but it would be good if you outline things, get to the point and use layman words.
Artificial sweetners arent bad,. . . in moderation most things are fine, its when people overdue shit. . . like drink 7 diet soda's a day. . . just because they are diet. . . and have no sugar. . . Dummies ! :-)
yes its a waste of money in the sense that you get the same thing either way...but it's not a waste of money when considering morals and should cows really be treated so poorly...I see you're argument, but at the same time, if people care that cows go through proper care and nutrition, buying grass-fed whey is not a waste if it helps them sleep at night/sticks with their morals.
@LTMagic21 I see your point but if you aren't getting any special benefit from the grass fed whey then you aren't really doing anything to support your morals.
Historically speaking science (food tests studies etc.) Has always gotten ahead of itself. Untold numbers of studies have made adamant claims throughout the decades concerning new ideas such as the current (meaning over the past 20 years) and many food studies. Which have later (scientifically proven) to be false! The numbers of articles are too numeras. Since artificial sweetners are made of chemicals that are normally harmful to the body, it follows therefore they are in every sense harmful.
@sunflyer40 If you take that point of view then yes BUT there are independent studies that thus far show that artificial sweeteners are not harmful. Again, I choose not to use them unless they are in a few products that I take daily.
dude no matter what you say, you cant deny that grass fed protein is better than normal protein. Even if its 10% better i rather have it than regular protein.
@asimmiami1 Yes, in grass fed MEAT. You're the type of person that I described in the video above. Someone who "knows" that it's better and refuses to accept valid science even when faced with it. As of right now, it isn't better.
@jimmysmithtraining There are theories about everything now a days. Maybe you enjoy eating cheap proteins and consuming artificial sweeteners, idk?? Thats on you. Ill stick with the cleanest products i can find (even if i have to sacrifice some money) ;-]
@asimmiami1 It's not about that at all. You're just the type of person that I was describing. You listen to what people say and that's gospel. First off, just because it's not grass fed whey (which DOESN'T currently exist, btw) doesn't mean it's cheap. You actually are drinking the same stuff as me.
hello, my weight is 188, but i want to be able to see my abs not my belly what is the best workout to burn fat???
i do them every day and i seam to be get tin no results, may be its my diet nutrition, or i don't know what it could be... I'm so tired to give it my all and see no results...:(
@zombiekicker Not true at all actually. Your body can handle a whole lot more then that. We can only store about 5 grams of protein in muscle during the course of the day, but that's another video for another day.
@datboysha40 In terms of Casein giving you cancer? That's a HUGE reach and overreaction. It's actually worthy of another video and I will try to get it up by Sunday.
I linked a couple cats to this video feed...LOL. Of course they are furious because they paid up on buying that expensive "grass fed" whey...LOL. This isgood stuff and the training is awesome. I used to believe in scary Mike Geary, but I got tired of his e-mail traffic of death horror and destruction if you do this or eat this...LOL
@datboysha40 Thanks for linking some people. Can you post it on your Facebook page too? While I agree on many of the environmental and food related issues with our health I try to bring everything back to the center and not overreact, which allows me to give solid advice.
@zombiekicker You're right, you should try to eat lean meats with every meal but it comes to a point where you need or want shakes. Focus on your meat and fish first then shakes second.
@datboysha40 hahah. That's why the very first thing I said was "grass fed meat is awesome" because it is and you should eat it all the time but grass fed whey is a over reaction.
@jimmysmithtraining True that Jimmy! You keeps it real dawg! I just subscribed and it seems like you are speaking the truth. I caught on to your feed because me and a few guys got into words about the Smith Machine...LOL. Somehow it falls into the same "mindset" category of the over reaction of grass fed whey...LOL
@datboysha40 Awesome buddy! Yea the Smith Machine debate was funny. Some people acted like they were in love with it. Have you joined my facebook fan page?
not to mention the criteria for what autism actually consists of has become so broad. Nowadays people diagnose autism right off the bat. Its becoming like, "that causes cancer." Well wtf doesn't cause cancer?
