Seriously, Jeff Bridges is the only person in this day and age that can pull of VERY classic sounding country music with heart, without grit. I mean, Seasick Steve now, and Zevon before were doing their gritty thing; followed by Eagles of Death metal and those newer, country guys - but Jeff is old school heart, without wanting to invoke eye-roll.
