Another "report" which lets Taser get some promo in. Every time I see a **staged** hit from any Taser device on camera, there is someone there to help them gently fall to the padding on the floor. Then: "OK, that hurt. But it wasn't as bad as I expected" or something equally kind to Taser.

Next time, if you are reporting on the Taser grenade, get HIT by the Taser grenade in "real world" conditions - on pavement, without two people helping you fall. Tase your grandma too - the cops will.

I my home town there have been multiple cases that the person being tased died from being tased. And both cases these individuals were only committing petty crimes (bar fight's). My heart goes out to those individuals family's. A taser make's a police officers job easier/safer but at a cost.

When it comes to incapacitating someone against their will, it's possible to kill them in the process regardless of what method you use. People have died from being tackled, hit with a baton, forcibly subdued (pinching an artery or limiting/stopping their ability to breathe), and pepper spray.

I think it's important to realize that there are people who are trying to take steps in reducing fatalities in high risk situations by inventing more non-lethal and less-than-lethal means to incapacitate

Used incorrectly or on someone with a medical condition (yaknow, people who have heart issues [to name one which i am sure there're more] are recommended to get tased at some point.) Law Enforcement does not know what drugs someone is taking while they are resisting arrest. The simple fact is that any TASER is safer than a Bullet.
