  • whats the name of this song?

  • WTF i cant even see the patern

  • This is actually the One More Extra Stage :P

  • Nice job guys! More training and you will pass it =)

  • oh my!....

  • how can someone hit so many notes and still be able to process everything in their heads? Someone please tell me.

  • Have Mensa IQ level, and some years of training.

  • they create their own patterns.

once you get to another, you have to utilize all 10 fingers (which i can't still do) and create your own pattern for the song, including scratch, so that you can pass it.

one hyper needs a pattern: mendes hyper.

  • hooray for being another typical idiot on youtube

  • haha you are pretty funny yourself. First you make fun of me because you don't understand what I'm saying, and second you try to discourage me with a message. nice try.

oh and if you are going to be racist over this, I am korean and most people that I know call it a pattern.

and don't even bother responding faggot. there is no time for me to waste time with fags who doesn't even think before responding.

    and if you haven't realized, youtube != 4chan. /b/tards... >_>

  • 재밌냐? 계속해봐... ㅋㅋ

  • When i think of an example of the word insane, i think this video is a perfect example.

  • myyyyyy gooooooosh!!!

  • These Beatmania videos on Youtube look so different from the Beatmania my family used to play... They're so much more... I don't know... I'd say high-tec but they general layout of the game isn't very high-tec... It just looks strange to me...

  • It's probably because you played the original beatmania. This is IIDX.

  • How come the guy on the left did not pass?

  • They both actually failed. The guy on the left needs to keep his groove bar over 0 percent until the end of the song (this is called a hard groove bar), but if he does reach 0 percent, he automatically fails. the guy on the right needs to keep his bar at or over 80 percent (normal groove bar) by the end of the song to clear, but he can never reach 0 percent, so he never fails. the hard groove gauge loses life at a lot faster rate than normal, though.

  • WTF!!

    O.o

  • i am a huge guitar hero fan. but this game kind of makes guitar hero look easy. there is a lot more possible note combinations, and more buttons. i salute anyone who can do this well

  • Yup, Beatmania is a shit ton harder than GH. As a matter of fact, I'd go as far as saying that Beatmania is THE hardest and best music simulation game.

    I do love GH though!

  • I second that.

I play most all music sim games and Beatmania is by far the hardest. I actually think Beatmania is the hardest video game I've ever played. It rapes DDR and GH but i love them both too.

  • lol wut

  • how do people do this? lol iv never really seen a video of this game on a playable difficulty

  • Lots of practice. I know stuff about music games, and I assume this, like Guitar Hero/Guitarfreaks, teaches your hands what to do when they see a bar in a certain place so eventually your hands will be playing the song, your eyes will see the notes, and nothing else will be going on within your body. >_>

  • The playable difficulties are not very fun to watch, rather boring.

Beatmania was the first music game made, and there is a whole slew of japanese dudes who have been playing since the first one came out. Hence, they're really good. There's been like 20 different versions of beatmania, and when you play something like that for a whole decade you get pretty good at it.

  • i am the guy on the left

  • if thats on another, i wonder what would normal be like 0_0. & dont u think this could be a good DDR song?

  • I have a DDR version O.o and a lot of IIDX songs end up being in DDR/ITG/PIU

  • you can order it on playasia though so you can order it and play it in like 10 days

  • Even though it doesn't come out for another month from this post >_>

  • got it Xatticus

  • You just GOTTA love the extra stages :D! Even though I play on Hyper and Another, there's no way in hell I'll be able to do this in years. Amazing song though. Absolutely insane. I have to play this song though, I can't wait for IIDX13 on PS2!

  • How to get to this? Because there's a Distorted machine I'm going to next weekend and I wanna try this (on Hyper albeit).

Does anyone know if this is gonna be on the PS2 version of Distorted, cause maybe I'll hold off and wait for this version to come out for console.

  • sweet i can dance to this for days or maybe even hours i mean years u get what i meanz in english of round house disco meow red mix of october

  • Where I live, the best of the best *of the best*...people who can whip Quasar Another without breaking a sweat...have tried Nageki no Ki Another at some point (w/o Hard), and not one has come *close* to clearing it.

This, IMO, is the point where all the IIDX challenge fanatics began to see where their way of thinking could lead. And man, it's about time. :-D

  • Hi, I am "the best of the best *of the best*" by your definition because I can a) whip Quasar Another without breaking a sweat and b) live in Hawaii, and I've definitely cleared this. Derek's hard cleared it at the arcade.

    But okay sure.

  • Really? Wow. Seriously, I'd love to witness it at least once.

  • Well, I'm at the University of Washington now, but I'll be back in Hawaii over the winter so you should come to Brian's sometime.

Check my profile though, I made a Nageki nonrandom-clear video off a simulator to give you a pretty good idea. :G

  • drrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr nageki no ki [another] =p

  • haha, owned

  • Wow this song is awesome. I'm still practicing to get this good. >_>;

  • the video is like waxing and wanding, with that dude floating around and stuff.

  • holy crap, that was INSANE!

  • Damnit, I haven't seen anyone pass this yet.

  • LOL @ the scales near the end. Crazy.

  • That song is so bad ass!

  • That's fucking ridiculous, but still, it's IIDX. IIDX doesn't stop getting harder. :D

  • yikes...that was evil...some parts in the notechart remind me of "one more lovely" it seems lit this song was made hard just for the sake of it being an extra stage. damn konami

  • To all the people who are saying "He probably could have passed it if he weren't playing on hard"... he's going for the One More Extra Stage. In order to get the One More Extra Stage song, you need to pass all four of the Cardinal Gate (Extra Stage) songs on Another+Hard with a grade of AA or above. That's obviously what he's going for, and he's obviously good enough that he'll get it eventually.

But goddamn, that part where he failed was ridiculous. What the hell, Konami.

  • Wait, I think this IS the OMES. In that case, it could very well be that, like in previous games, you aren't allowed to change your mods between the ES and the OMES. >_>

  • Uh...Nageki no Ki is the One More Extra Stage.

  • ...yes, note my response to myself >_>

Either way, saying "He could have passed without hard" is kind of pointless, since the point of the ES/OMES is to be playing on hard.

  • Type in the search bar "catchy song bitch" XD seriously. Then, click on the ONLY one that appears and mute it while playing Nageki No Ki. IT GOES SO PERFECTLY IT'S FUNNY!

  • Umm... no. Yeah no. Watch out for your mind.

  • No, seriously! Do it!

  • Awesome song. Mean patterns. It all equals IIDX to me.

  • I really like this song. :D

  • 800 combo, pretty damn good! the left guy would have cleared it if he hadnt been on hard....

  • I'm sure guy from the left could of pass it jeez he was on full combo for a while.

  • D:

  • The guy on the left was playing with Hard. needless to say, he's a ways from hard clearing this song. x_x

  • how come the guys score on the left stop?did he give up? This is a kick ass song though. Im just starting to get into this game and this stuff blows my mind(the speed i mean)

  • Good video, but the song is called Nageki no Ki, not Nagekitoki.
