Agreed its better to use either old worn out spikes or get a set of drift tyres, You can also get sparking drift tyres that shower sparks when drifting great for dusk or night hehe.

You can bodge a set of ordinary tyres by wrapping them with duct tape which would last for a few mins drifting, works on my kyosho 1/8 Inferno neo and my Virus 2 Big block.

@KissellWitAWissel hey foam tires are not the best for drifting, my car has a huuuuge engine so it can spin the tyres past their grip level so can drift them, but it is best off to get proper had compound drift tyres :)
