If you knew anything about it, you would know that it's a roots style eaton blower. Where the screws compress the air against the outer casing of the supercharger. A real twin screw supercharger (whipple/KB) compresses the air between screws. I'd suggest learning about what your own car has from the factory before acting like a dick head.
that cobra is almost stock. throw a jlt CAI on there with a long tube header back exhaust and a tune and it would add probably 2-3 car lengths easily. and get better gas milage than it gets now. my 97 with 4.10s and a k&n drop in, pullies, royal purple fluds throuout, hpipe, flows pulled 24.5 mpg average on a straight 160 mile highway run, that was with the a/c...plus I hit a couple on ramps pretty hard and raced a truck and a car on the way...driving easy w no ac would have easily gotten 25+

The SER had like 3 people in the car with only 5psi boosted. The cobra is a v8 (2 times the SER motor) producing 300+hp. And btw, "highly-modified"? it never mention no "high-mod" SER. Giving it a turbo doesnt mean high mod. But giving it a turbo and proper tuning it, can be define as a "high mod" SER.
@turbobenx the 1999 cobra's still only made 320 horsepower with the stock supercharger that came with the 4.6 V8. the cobra's didnt get ridiculous quick until the 03/04 years when the they were rated at 390 but were very underated. this isnt that impressive unless it was an 03/04 cobra

@MCxQubed Unfortunately the guy who said that cobra would run 13.9's stock is just about right. If YOU knew anything about mustangs as well, the 99's had head/compression issues which made the actual power output anywhere between 280 and 305 hp, instead of the rated 320 horsepower. That coupled with a suspension that is trickier to launch than a GT and a car that is heavier than the GT, 13.9 is right on for the '99 Cobra. However in 2001, the Cobra got fixed and it ran more like 13.5-13.6. =D

The 1999 Cobras were slow... 2001's were a little faster (Ford revised the intake, exhaust and computer), and the supercharged 2003-04 Cobras were wicked fast...LOL!!!!

power to weight ratio. I dont know how many people were in the cobra. I know it weighs around 3500 pounds though. that sentra with those 3 people in it probably doesn't weigh 3500 pounds. @knucklehead0202 I dunno if you're sarcastic or wat, But okay, i'll make this clear. A boosted SER cannot exceed 230+hp on wheels unless it is reinforced until the engine blows. The SER had like 3 people in the car with only 5psi boosted. The cobra is a v8 (2 times the SER motor) producing 300+hp. And btw, "highly-modified"? it never mention no "high-mod" SER. Giving it a turbo doesnt mean high mod. But giving it a turbo and proper tuning it, can be define as a "high mod" SER.

@turbobenx the 1999 cobra's still only made 320 horsepower with the stock supercharger that came with the 4.6 V8. the cobra's didnt get ridiculous quick until the 03/04 years when the they were rated at 390 but were very underated. this isnt that impressive unless it was an 03/04 cobra

All Cobra's say Cobra in the back bumper.
It isn't there on this car.
Plus Cobra's have round driving light's in the lower front bumper. This car look's to have the rectangular driving light's of a GT.
Plus the Cobra run's the twin cam 32 valve 4.6 litre v8.
The second cam and extra 16 valves engage at the 3400 RPM mark...I never hear the other cam and valves engage on this engine.
Look's and sound's like a GT with Cobra fender badges to me.

oh you suck, the 99 cobra had an HP recall. they claimed 320 but in 2000 that number dropped to 270 because it was some .05 seconds quicker than a GT.

I'm not sure how much the Spec V's run for, but if you're going to go for a cheap car just to make it fast, Fox body 5.0s are the way to go. Cheap to buy, light weight, and cheap to make pretty damn fast.

@bamabeauty12 False. If you knew mustangs, the 99 cobra had the "mustang" bumper and the front bumper on the mustang is the cobra bumper not the GT bumper. Also, there is a Cobra on the side of the car, be fake in that aspect but it sure sounded like a 4v and the SVT badge was on the back too!

@MCxQubed Unfortunately the guy who said that cobra would run 13.9's stock is just about right. If YOU knew anything about mustangs as well, the 99's had head/compression issues which made the actual power output anywhere between 280 and 305 hp, instead of the rated 320 horsepower. That coupled with a suspension that is trickier to launch than a GT and a car that is heavier than the GT, 13.9 is right on for the '99 Cobra. However in 2001, the Cobra got fixed and it ran more like 13.5-13.6. =D
