And I must say that it's not fair of you saying that the Asian cosplayers are "worse" than the others (the Zelda ones as an example) I think both girls are rly pretty! @MrBiginthecave there are some asians who shouldnt cosplay either. cosplay is like modeling. some can do it, some cant. it has nothing to do with race at ALL it has to do with the way the person looks, if the picture was taking professionally, the lighting, and the make up. so, not to sound mean, but you are wrong :)
You can say that western don`t really look good when cosplaying (I personally think that they are generally less good than asian cosplay,not ALL the time) but you cant tell them that they cant or shouldnt cosplay. I've seen some very good non photoshopped Asian cosplays. They photoshop it so they can look more like an anime character. In my opinion, they were fine before they became alien looking. xD Some of the photoshops don't look too different from the original, some do.
It actually really depends on the angle and lighting whether or not a picture looks good. I look great at a certain angle and light, no make up or photo editing. but really unnattractive in bright light or flash photography.
it all depends on the person cosplaying and how much time and effort you actually put into the costume. if your gonna be lazy, then its gonna look bad. i think all races are beautiful and there are people everywhere who can and cannot cosplay.
I'm a British-born Mongoloid-Asian and I think white caucasoid cosplay looks better than mongoloid. I enjoy doing it but my nose is too wide, my eyes are too small and my skin is too dark.. although I have to say, I really like Arisa's cosplays! ^-^
im english and even i admit that only asians can pull cosplay off, since they invented anime it makes sense. Stop embarrasing urself. Most white ppl are too big to be anime.
@nekofan100 I don't think the white cosplayers look convincing, their face shape looks older than the chinks and they have larger body frames, just deal with it, cosplay isnt for white ppl. Also white people have more developed jaws. I think asians focus on cuteness and innocence in their culture where we try and look more sexy.

If asians can pull of the look so well then why do they need circle contact lenses to make they're eyes big just to resemble the character their trying to portray. @brunettesunangel Really? Some of them pull of cosplays quite well. I think Final Fantasy cosplays are very fitting for them, since the characters in the games are actually Caucasians. But the thing is, I've seen equally good Final Fantasy cosplays by both whites and Asians.

I just feel sorry for all the beautiful cosplayers in these videos that are being used to promote racist ideals.

that proudtoberacist guy doesnt even know that there are a bunch of western or European looking characters in anime. Take for example Link and Zelda and Hyrule, it looks based off of Celtic designs and such. Hellsing and its characters are European, That anime Hitalia has characters of different countries and regions.
even in Street fighter there is a vast array of characters from different countries.
the list goes on.
plus that racist guy looks like a pedo with a receding hairline.

Um...hasn't anyone noticed the the people who cosplay in AMERICA (not just white people, thank you) tend to be...ya know...people who don't seem to keep up with fashion and all that...I dunno how to put this but the people in AMERICA (ahem. not just white people) who would look good in cosplay just arent in to anime. And the people in JAPAN (yeah...mostly Japan and yeah I know there are others!!!) ...as a whole just seem to like it more. So uh...get your acts together.

I've seen some very good non photoshopped Asian cosplays. They photoshop it so they can look more like an anime character. In my opinion, they were fine before they became alien looking. xD Some of the photoshops don't look too different from the original, some do.
It actually really depends on the angle and lighting whether or not a picture looks good. I look great at a certain angle and light, no make up or photo editing. but really unnattractive in bright light or flash photography.

it all depends on the person cosplaying and how much time and effort you actually put into the costume. if your gonna be lazy, then its gonna look bad. i think all races are beautiful and there are people everywhere who can and cannot cosplay.

I'm a British-born Mongoloid-Asian and I think white caucasoid cosplay looks better than mongoloid. I enjoy doing it but my nose is too wide, my eyes are too small and my skin is too dark.. although I have to say, I really like Arisa's cosplays! ^-^

@nekofan100 I don't think the white cosplayers look convincing, their face shape looks older than the chinks and they have larger body frames, just deal with it, cosplay isnt for white ppl. Also white people have more developed jaws. I think asians focus on cuteness and innocence in their culture where we try and look more sexy.

If asians can pull of the look so well then why do they need circle contact lenses to make they're eyes big just to resemble the character their trying to portray. Why are half the anime characters appear to be western? meaning blue/green eyes and blonde hair like "Sailor Moon for example." How come japanese animators choose not make characters that look like themselves.

Well you also have to realize that not asians think this way anyway. Plus, it's like...who the heck cares? People can go back and forth in saying who the better cosplayers are, but if you wanna debate about it then none of them are. The cosplayers who can accept that all races have people who can and cant pull it off, but see that it's all FOR FUN are the true cosplayers. @brunettesunangel Really? Some of them pull of cosplays quite well. I think Final Fantasy cosplays are very fitting for them, since the characters in the games are actually Caucasians. But the thing is, I've seen equally good Final Fantasy cosplays by both whites and Asians.
Well all this fuss about white people, what about blacks or hispanics? I've seen some pretty nice cosplays they've done.

But I don't criticize them, because their having fun and enjoying themselves. As for all your cursing, you sure are a strange person to get worked up over something so trivial. The point of cosplaying is to show off the character you love and have fun while doing it. Race or gender don't matter, its for fun.

I've been to plenty of anime conventions and seen plenty of people out of character, they cosplay because they do it for fun and because they like the anime. Oh, and FYI not everyone in entire population of Japan cosplays or likes it. Seeing as I have a couple of friends who live their and aren't to found of it at all.

Never heard of charice before, but was never into the whole real big gospel thing. I grew up in a mixed cultural church. So I've never really been in that atmosphere as an all black people church.

I just pointed out to him that Hellsing has ONE Asian character xD So in his terms, any Asian Alucards or Andersons are racist, even though its a Japanese anime. I don't have a problem with Asians cosplaying Hellsing, though. I said this on his video too, so I hate to sound like a broken record, but what about Asians cosplaying Sazh or Barret? Isn't that racism in his terms? 'Impersonating another race' ?
