When I open or import a song it's compressed into 1 second just like snapascrew's problem. I know I need to convert it, but how do I convert it to mp3?
k i need help. i can record one track but is there any way to listen to that track while im recording anither one so i can get the timing right? kind of like an overdub you know?
Probably not as there is only one input source. However to get a multitrack recording you could add extra tracks and use the initial track as a playback track to get the timing right.
Rip your track into mp3 or wma and then open it in audacity, alternatively you can play the track on your cd and get Audacity to record from the input source. You will then have the recording that you want.
k i have a big problem, i tried importing a song and it dosent load it just improts, it compressed th song into 1 second and when i press play it plays the qwhole song in 1 second and like 99 octaves above my hearing, and i did everything u did (clcik open, click on track, and opened it) WHATS WRONG? HELP!
