My Cadette Girl Scout troop is going to have a table set up playing this video at our bake sale so that anyone that wants to stop by can make a crane. We are also going to do the same at our spa day next week. We have set a goal to make 500 cranes!!! Thank you for this video!!

What kind of paper do you use?

@chriseurich33 - You can cut white paper into a square, but I go to a Craft or Hobby store like Michaels and get origami paper. They have many different colors and designs. Your Girl Scouts will love it!

My Daisy troop is going to make these cranes at our next meeting to send to our sister scouts in Japan to help them in a small way during this horrible crisis. Thanks for such a helpful video to show us how to make them right. We have 8 girls in kindergarten and first grade in our troop so we have a goal of ten a piece during our meeting. I know it isn't 1000 but hopefully when added to others being sent, 80 will be just fine. What a wonderful way for little ones to feel they are helping in

You can actually pull the tail and the wings move! You pull the tail with your right hand then the left hand should be holding the bottom left thingy of the crane.
