BOOOO Ok, I'm amending my comment: I used the curling iron for the first time today. One of the most frustrating experiences of my life. Because of the direction of the spirals, you have to use your left hand to "load" your hair into the iron. Do you find this too? I'm right-handed and this led to so much frustration today. I'm taking the spiral iron back and getting a regular curling iron today.
