  • hey rob, how come my B. emelia always moves her water dish around? lol!

  • I was wondering if you had any advice about what to do with regards to a juvenile B. emilia I have that just happened to escape when I was careless and left her top ajar ?? This happened about an hour ago and I have aquariums all around my house as well, along with plenty of places she could hide in each room...any ideas as to where to look first ??

  • @ThexxPoisonx They need very little humidity if any at all.

  • I dont get this. My T is a PZB which are supposed to be docile but if i did that i'd be haired almost instantly or bitten! :(

  • get ready for a question u may have never been asked before: If i blow a bong toke at my rose hair will it be fine?

  • @bengals12125 i get my pets high all the time, they love it! weed has no bad effects on any living creature :)

  • This is what I want as my first Tarantula... how much do they usually run price wise? Will you be breeding any B. Emilia's in the future?

  • Hey Rob, would you say that b. emilia has a more docile temperment than b. boehmie?

  • hey rob i love all your videos and i hope you have a great day c ya

  • @Bowerserboyproductions once she gets used to her enclosure she will get more defensive in her enclosure.

  • hey rob i have a question i got a rose hair a last wednesday and she seems like she likes being out of the tank and held and i did often the first week so i could get used to her, well i left her alone for a couple days so she could get less stressed out and now she wont climb onto my hand and she hasnt reared up at me once so shes not mad but i cant figure out why shes doing this i would appreciate it if you could help : ) thanks - Andrew

  • @EricTzeo3 Yes it is.

  • Is that a mexican red leg tarntula?>

  • hey rob,is there any way i can tell my spiders gender?

  • @ahickin She has done this to feel safe, after a molt they are very vulnerable.

  • Thank u rob for your help :-) it's been 8 days since my female theraphosa blondi molted and she looks huge. For her first meal what shall i give her after her molt and she has webbed her entrance 2 her hide why is this mate.

  • Good sized B.Emelia, Rob. I'll have to show you the enclosures I found at Office Depot. It never matters what footage you are uploading, I seem to enjoy it all.

    Thanks!

  • @ahickin 2-3 weeks is about right.

  • @tarantulaguy1976 the enclosures look about the same size, so why'd you rehouse? i'm just wonderin!

    God Bless,

    Krissy K.

  • Hi ya rob hope u and your t's r ok mate. My female goliath bird eater molted on the 21 december and she looks great :-) When shall i take the skin out because she is sitting on it and i don't wana upset her mate. And when shall i feed her again I've been told 2 weeks after her molt is that ok.

  • thanks for the new video; it cheers me up. I just lost a (what I thought was....)very good friend. I enjoy your videos and for some reason, they (along with watching Roseanne and other various youtubers) really make me feel better-at least a little bit!

Your B emilia is very cute.

  • @tarantelbiss Give her a day out two.

  • @kdkretch1993 We actually sold her.

  • hi rob where did you get your shoe boxes from.I think their really cool. But i'm in london i was wondering if they ship across the pond.

  • Very pretty T. I'd have a few myself again, but the housemates are terrified of anything with eight legs on it (and some things with six)

  • @21mad12 Yup, curly hairs are from the tropical parts of mexico so they need a but more humidity......keep the B.B dry with a water dish if you want you can must one side of the enclosure 1x a week if you would like.

  • i no that brachypelma albopolosum need a bit more humidity... like 70% 78% humidity... and need slightly more weter enviroments... but how would i house a boehmie??? please help me

  • @Wildman1098 The Gecko no, but the Bearded Dragon I just re-housed the Beardie and will do a vid on it.

  • @tarantulaguy1976 what happened to the gecko?

  • @tarantulaguy1976 Ha Rob I have 3 beardies I am happy to hear that you are going to a vid on yours I would on my 3 but I have no camera.

  • @wowbronxe Any of the Beach Brachypelma or Avicularia species.

  • Whats a good beginner tarantula?

  • @krestkrovee This set-up will work for any Brachypelma species!

  • @boggsy117 I am using eco-earth substrate.

  • @tarantulaguy1976 hey rob my p.murinus molted 6 days ago after she molted she webbd up her hide so i coudent look in or anything ahmm im just wondering when i can start feeding her again and will she come out on her own or shoud i destroy the webbing ?

  • @TarantelBiss Don't destroy the webbing. Just leave her. she will come out when she is ready. I have not seen my OBT for months. As for feeding, give it about 10 days after the moult. If it does not eat straight away remove the food item.

  • @leeofbacup ok tyvm :D it was the first time 1 of my ts molted so i dident know how they act :D thx for helping me out

  • Nice video Rob!=o)

It could be awesome to see some more videos with your brachypelma boehmei!

    Thanks Rob!

  • @kamerus88 They are called drop front shoe-boxes & the cubes are called Amec boxes

  • lovely brachypelma robc , congratulations :)))

  • @1992pattrow thanks :-)

  • How do you keep the substrate for Brachypelma Sp slings and juvenile?

  • @KresTKroVee i raised a brachypelma albopilosum from a 1cm sling by keeping the substrate just a little moist just to make sure there was a little humidity as it would be stupid to put a water dish in with a sling so small.

even as spiderlings they pretty hardy and don't really need close looking after like an avic sling would

  • @BooshgaFilms Thanks for the info. I have several 1cm slings in tube vials. i didnt know if this sp needed moist substrate or not. also, feeding 1' slings every 3 days too much? They get 1 small juv. crickette each. :)

  • @KresTKroVee yeah that should be fine lol

just once or twice a week

wait a couple of days after they molt before you feed them so their fangs have time to harden up

brachypelmas are greedy so they will usually always be interested in food so make sure you dont over do it

    they are great Ts :)

  • @BooshgaFilms thanks for the info!

  • @KresTKroVee no problem bro :)

  • Hey Rob, What is the name of those Shoeboxes, I've looking all through the container store website and can't fine them!

Also could ya maybe tell me the name of the smaller rectangular containers you use from The container store? and what sizes you use?

Sorry I know its a lot haha but I'm looking to put in some orders! :)

  • what substrate are you using for her in this vid?

  • @boggsy117 he uses eco earth

  • hey rob.love ur vids.im just bout to get my first t.a mexican fire leg.would you mind doing a vid on a set up for the enclosure please.i bought every thing.ie vermiculate.eco earth, sphagnum moss and not to sure wat would be the best combo for the T.thanks
