B & W ???? keyboard ??? In some sense Kindle its a leap to the future but in others Its a rollback in technology, learn about iPhone NO K E Y B O A R D S , one touch screen offers more flexible solution.

@000nosferatu touch keyboards are not for everyone the Kindle is aimed at readers its not a phone nor a gaming device

Actually, you can get personal content on the Kindle for free by syncing with a computer. Also, the Kindle has a keyboard, search, note taking, internet access, dictionary, wikipedia.....all features the Sony Reader sdoesn't have. Also the Sony Reader wasn't released 6 weeks ago...it was released last year....the new verson was released 6 weeks ago.

So if I want to put an ebook from my computer onto the Kindle I can d it direct with a cable without paying any money for it? This is one of the things that has stopped me getting a Kindle, the idea that I can't read the mass of books I already have on my hard drive.
