Since practicing this method, I have owned (with my HELOC) a Mazda Miata, seven BMW Z3s, six Mercedes, two Audi TT Roadsters, A Chevrolet Corvette C5, two Chevrolet S10 Pickups, a Toyota Sequoia, a Lexus L400, a Lexus XG-470, three Harley Davidson 1200 Sportsters, and two Honda Goldwings. I may have forgotten a few.
I guessing its a salvage/rebuild title, making the bluebook value near worthless. Generally most of the most part resell of salvage/rebuild titles is a common scam.
Salvage titles are not street legal, they have to undergo a state certifed ASE exmaination than title can be changed to a rebuild title, befor it can legally be registered as a street vehical. insurance companies generally will jack up the rates on a rebuild simply becuse of the potential hazards. Maintance costs can triple due to poor after market repairs, and so on. Wile Salvage titles still hold value for exotic/classical vehicals where full restoration is common.
@Lokivoid Ok, I understand. Do you know about jumping title when you buy a car with a clean title? U know, when u don't sign the title in your name and u just sell it.
@mlpdade Yes, I do. We talk about what people do , and how they do it in the course. I can't recommend that anybody does it, but I can share what has been done, what is done. :)
