Don't have anything against Christopher Hitchens however, he is wrong. Jesus created the universe, and yes because there was a supreme creator therefore we are accountable to this God whether we like it or not. Jesus died on the cross so we can have a way of forgiveness its up to us to accept or reject, and will be justly punished for our rebellion.

In the UK the biggest threat is "faith schools", particularly Islamic ones which, due to well-intentioned multiculturalism and religious tolerance, are free to do pretty much as they please so far as teaching *real* science goes.
