If you have no appreciation for Pele then your opinion of Ronaldo is not worth listening to because Pele done more than Ronaldo has, even though Ronaldo was an amazing player.
Pele in his prime - played against players who tackled harder and more frequent than in the modern game and there was no yellow card system.
Players rarely got sent off even though they frequently kicked and fouled the best players.

You are still missing the point. Ronaldo is partly, some might say, largely a product of Pele's legacy. If you praise someone whom has benefitted from the success of pass master, why would you not acknowledge the foundations the old master has made. That type of thinking is simply ignorant.

No your logic is offbeam. Someone can benefit from somebody else's legacy and revolution, but still be better than the revolutionary. Football brilliance is not measured in how "revolutionary" you were. Pele popularised the stepover, but Ronaldo, Robinho, Ronaldinho etc. have been shown to have faster stepovers "pedalala". If their stepovers are faster and more convincing, does that mean Pele was better than them at stepovers?

If you had given that reasoning [second paragraph] as to why you thought Pele was better than Ronaldo, then it would have been a sound and logical analysis. However your previous claim was that "because Pele influenced Ronaldo, he was better"; your whole argument with mahershalah... was based on this premise. That is faulty logic. However, the argument you gave above is sound and should have been used in place of the faulty argument.

He is the very best soccer player to ever exist, imagine 55 goals in 59 appearances with PSV, and 47 in 49 with FCB, he is the definition of a striker, he made the number nine a permanant fixture for any striker who understands what that number represents, so thanks ibrastix and thank you Ronaldo!

I used watch back in seasons 1996/1997 and 1997/1998 and he was the best player of his generatrtion and one of the greatest players of all time. If anyone says Ronaldo then they don't know nothing about football. Ronaldo was a complete. He had pace, strength, his dribbiling and skills were brillaint and he unbelieveble goals and he is a legend and I will never forget Ronaldo at his prime time.
