you payed 800 dollars for a toyota with only 147k on it?! and you must not know much about toyotas if you think 147k miles is alot for a yota. but anyway 800 dollars for that is a steal.
@1DJGLOW wow...I bought mine off the lot too and it has about the same exact miles. 138,000. I just wish the Japanese would use better steel. Like I said, my frame is rusted BAD. :(
yeah mines not bad tho except the exhast and two semi small holes on the tailgate other then that perfect body except for the bed we used it to carry rocks boulders sand dirt its been threw work but still the body is nice
Oil pressures a little low if my eyes serve me right but definately a good truck i have a 92 22re with 190k and it runs like a champ i do a little wheelin every now and again and she does extremely well

You did get a good deal! I paid 1500 for my 93' p/u. But (of coarse) it runs like a champ and for almost a year now of beating on it, it has not given me a single problem!! I Love what you do for me TOYOTA!!!!! Although they do need to get their act back together with those new prius's and recall stuff.
i have a beat up 89 extended cab 4x4 3vze v6... it had 147,650 when i bought it 3 months ago... its got a lil rust and its an automatic... i paid 3,000 dollars!!! you got a hell of a deal, but it did have new rims and tires so basically 2'500... i cant complain besides it needing new shocks, and an exhaust leak... love my yota! built in japan drove everywhere!
my dad's truck is 92, 2wd, and it got 255,000kms with 22RE, no oil leak, no anit-freeze leak, no engine trouble, same tranny and motor. my dad pull a little truck with over 5000Lb motorhouse boat with 6cylinder cummings diesel, and 1000cc and 650cc motorbike fits in the box and it still have power and no probalem. it amazing that 22RE as tons of torque but not much HP, all the torque matters. the gas was pretty bad with carry heavy weight. i wish they make 22R diesel
Not to get into the American/Foreign cars ordeal, but as a fact My 1993 toyota pickup was made in California I believe, Our 2004 civic was made in ohio. I was a GM dealer tech for several years and I owe nothing to GM, I fixed enough of thier screwups in my lifetime.
@ECWUSA1995 Half of Toyota's full size lineup is manufactured and assembled in The U.S unlike ford or GM where most of their vehicles are made in mexico so get your shit straight before you go make yourself look like a fucking retard
That's good that it has real gauges for all the fuctions, too often today there are just idiot lights or "idiot gauges" which only register midrange from a switch. That Shania Twain song is familiar, it is one of the records in a jukebox we are now working on.

Why would there be a problem on a 215 mile trip? These babies last 300k miles regularly with minimal problems.

I want value for my dollar, I found that in my toyota pickup!
150k is just breakin her in. You will see her last over 300k without a problem.
Just do your matenince, and use toyota red coolant ;)

Is that truck a 2x4 or 4x4? And 148k miles is nothing for toyota trucks.
