Well, I have an '06 z06 and an '08 gallardo spyder. I have driven both of them extensively. The z06 has better performance, a more comfortable spacious interior, much better cargo space, but it is much more difficult to drive well than the gallardo. The AWD on the lambo makes it soooo easy to just hit the gas and speed away. The exhaust sounds better, and it definitely gets you more attention than the z06 (if that's what you're looking for, anyway).
CORVETTE > Gallardo. Why would someone buy a Gallardo? Because they got money to buy a Lambo just not enough for a good Lambo so they buy the entry level Gallardo. People that don't know cars think its cool, people that know cars and know what you spent on it when you could have gotten something better know your an idiot. LoL

The Gallardo broadens the Lambo range, back in the 60's and 70's there were several cars on the market you could choose from like the Jalpa, the Espada, etc. Originally there was going to be the Lamborghini Cala to go alongside the Diablo.
Either way, the LP560 Gallardo is the sexiest car made in this century. Period.
PS: the LS7 of the C6 ZO6 can last more than 300.000+kilometers

Transverse leaf springs work as well or better than coil springs in every category. the only disadvantages are the increased exposure to chemical wear and higher cost of replacement. When it comes to supercar numbers for a sports car price, Corvette dominates all, Check the facts, The ZR-1 has been around the Nurburgring faster than most Ferrari's and Lambos. For a third of the price.
Its not a leafspring found on trucks. Its called a "transverse leafspring" and there are a ton of reasons why it is still used. For one it can be tuned a bit better, weighs less than coil overs, and also lowers the cars center of gravity. And the 7liter isnt a truck engine either, its the same block as used in the truck but the internals differ alot. So Mister Cow Boy is right you dont know shit about cars.

The Gallardo broadens the Lambo range, back in the 60's and 70's there were several cars on the market you could choose from like the Jalpa, the Espada, etc. Originally there was going to be the Lamborghini Cala to go alongside the Diablo.
Either way, the LP560 Gallardo is the sexiest car made in this century. Period.

Its not a leafspring found on trucks. Its called a "transverse leafspring" and there are a ton of reasons why it is still used. For one it can be tuned a bit better, weighs less than coil overs, and also lowers the cars center of gravity. And the 7liter isnt a truck engine either, its the same block as used in the truck but the internals differ alot. So Mister Cow Boy is right you dont know shit about cars.

i agree with you man. my mom had a bmw z4... and it has those new fancy springs and it rode like shit.... she recently just bought a 08 conver corvette and shes says it has less road noise and drives ten times better. and of course its ten times faster. :)
