  • I am also really interested in the aspect you brought up that "asynchronous" teaching is actually proven to be more effective in distance learning. As someone training to be a teacher (in the UK), we often feel we have to be there to deliver the curriculum, so my initial feelings were that technology could bring the teacher into the home/learning space. Lots of interesting things to unpick in this and in your video rationale!

  • It almost looks more exciting than a 'normal' classroom. You note in your rationale that asynchronous teaching is proven to have more benefits than synchronous teaching. Is that only in distance education or across the board? Interesting to find out why. Is it because it provides time for reflection/response?
