I love the 1999 version with Michelle Pfiefer, Kevin Kline, and Rupert Everett.

But that said, I enjoyed this version as well when I was able to find an old VHS of it. Maybe the 1999 version is the best. But this version was probably the best they could do with the resources back then.

our fairies were straight out of the 80's for our production x]. pretty epic, if not expected. Our mechanicals were all mismatched and kooky, and our lovers were more traditional. Us girls (Me as Hermia) wore corset bodice things that had to be laced really carefully. the donkey head was pretty epic though haha

And no offense; but with the green makeup, when I first saw this, all I could think of when I looked at Judi was Fiona from Shrek x]
