  • Naniiiii

  • I love the 1999 version with Michelle Pfiefer, Kevin Kline, and Rupert Everett.

But that said, I enjoyed this version as well when I was able to find an old VHS of it. Maybe the 1999 version is the best. But this version was probably the best they could do with the resources back then.

  • Hot, green, pointy ears, and semi-nude. I guarantee Captain Kirk beamed down, karate chopped the donkey in the shoulder knocking him unconscious, and went where no man had gone before. Betting he tracked down Mirren right after.

  • omg this turns me on lol

  • What a hottie.

  • Young Judi Dench talking to a donkey

    How strange is this

    But she was cute

  • lol wth?

  • ikr!!

  • wow

  • she got hair growing from her boobs to her head!:o

  • lucky ass bottom

    >:/

  • Bottom in this movie is not bad. His mask looks like it works like the mask James Cagney wore in the 1935 version of the play.

  • our fairies were straight out of the 80's for our production x]. pretty epic, if not expected. Our mechanicals were all mismatched and kooky, and our lovers were more traditional. Us girls (Me as Hermia) wore corset bodice things that had to be laced really carefully. the donkey head was pretty epic though haha

And no offense; but with the green makeup, when I first saw this, all I could think of when I looked at Judi was Fiona from Shrek x]

  • Lol this was interesting to watch XD I get to act it out next year in English so woo~ o:

  • So this is kind of scary. And confusing. But mainly just scary.

  • dame judy .. shes still fabulous but what a "dame" here ...

  • I agree. When I was watching this I thought Titania looked familiar and then when I realized it was Judi Dench... damn.

  • thanks for the smile :)

  • Simply beautiful!!

  • How hot was Judy Dench?

I'd still hit it, just to say I did.

  • Your right and she still is just young and tight like she was then.

  • wonderful great faces

  • The best movie version

  • im Titania in my school play.... O.O

  • so am i :)

  • what do u wear in the play? i dont wear what she wears in this play bc thats just... innapropriate.. I wear this silky dress, its really pretty

  • i wear a strapless dress that's see-through with a something that resembles a bikini underneath with leafs on it :)

  • Oh cool! My dress is pinkish purple which i find totally stupid when it should be green.. I was so excited bc green was my favorite color =( I was disspointed.

  • same i wanted to be green

  • im titania and im doing the play at the west yorkshire play house i dont know what im wearing :(

  • I'm gonna play the Bottom role in our play, man i wish i could have that donkey head ^^

  • Ill do her too nice tits Julie

  • she-hulk!

  • That was fascinating! Wow

  • That is one very real looking ass head!!! If I ran into that I would have nightmares/lol!

  • WOW! That ass head ROCKS! Judy rocks too

  • lol

  • where can one download this wonderful production? I tried emule, fruitlessly...

  • Dame Judi will turn 73 tomorrow (12/9/07) and she is still a babe, a brilliant babe. Happy Birthday Dame Judi.

  • ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • I enjoyed seeing this. Don't think Titania should've been quite so underdressed in front of those kids, though. Cobweb looked pretty stoned at 5:41 - 6:12. :)

  • that was bril it had an unnerving surrealness that i think is often overlooked in a midsummer nights dream,

  • wow, judi dench was very pretty and sexy in her young days!

  • ikr!!!!!!

  • she still is asshole

  • Bottom is always my fav in every reenactment of the play. lol.

  • I really enjoy this production of Romeo and Juliet. Dame Judy Dench was extremely attractive and talented. Who played the part of Bottom?

  • Paul Rogers played Bottom. It's actually from "A Midsummer Night's Dream"

  • Was this by chance the version that also starred James Cagney? if so, i almost bought that at Amoeba recoreds the other day in Hollywood.

  • Hard to believe Paul Rogers is 94 years old. Time flies.

  • @Cheengow Are you serious? You actually have romeo and juliet confused with midsummer nights dream? Wow, Just wow.

  • wow this is sooo old. wow Judi was a babe! The was just borne to be royalty.
