  • this almost sounds like Smokey and The Miracles song ,I may not be the one you want ,but I'm sure knuff the one you need ! can you hear it ?? She would have been the perfect replacement when Dianna left the Supremes.

  • I LOVE MOTOWN!

  • Brenda was truly gorgeous, and extremely talented, also.

  • this song is beautiful...with diana's voice it could be n.1

  • How classy. Pretty and talented. Not like female performers now-a-day that have to be half naked and crawling on the floor to get heard.

  • Stunning! Superb performance from Brenda.

  • Love this Girl. She was one of those great voices meant for Heavenly arrangements!

  • Brilliant video she is so at ease and a pure natural soul singer

  • Where if the preacher got her he got her for one reason to sing gospel music.

  • she is the kindsa woman you eat alive head to toe, iam glad a godly man saw her value and treasure.and took her where she needed to go as a person and human being,.toast to that man

  • Sad thing is that their marriage ended in divorce but I know he knew what he had.

  • I use to think no woman could make me chase her...I now realize I was wrong!...the woman is a living Cleopatra!

  • What a treasure!

  • Brenda came to my high school and did a concert in 1967 when she was just on the rise. Incredible voice, knockout beauty, and something very few people know — she is an excellent VIOLINIST. She played one song on it and just blew us away. We had no idea. A great memory. She had the stuff to be one of the best.

  • wow..brenda holloway was the ONE Berry Gordy was grooming to put Motown on the map...and they girl could blow and had lots of class. However, she married a minister and gave up the business. If she'd stayed around I don't know if Diana woulda had a chance.

  • I agree brenda was motown's lost treasure I just love the 60's the music, the clothes its my favorite era and the singers had class unlike todays artists who are just flashy, andl leave nothing to the imagination,I guess thats suppose to be a subsitute for not having enough talent

  • I agree....you said it all

  • PURE BRILLIANCE ! * * * * * * * * * * +

  • I LOVE THE LOOK OF A 60S GIRL

  • I wish someone would download the fantastic song "You've Changed Me" from Brenda's cd. Wish I could but I can't for I don't have the stuff downloaded to help me do this. This was a Smokey Robinson song and Brenda sings the sh^^ out of this song.

  • AWESOME SONG......SHE IS HOTT !!

  • Brenda Holloway, you are a beauty!

  • fantastic! & sung in a mackintosh!

  • Really the uncrowned Queen of the era.

  • now that girl has some hard-core style and soul!

  • she's fucking beautiful

  • 1 More comment I bet if the Supremes did this song it would have been a smash hit...boy was she shafted...

  • Sounds like the Funk Brothers on this song this should have been a #1 song what were they thinking....DUH

  • No she recorded the majority of her stuff on the west coast since she lived here in California

  • What a song. What a lady.

  • she was excellent so classy great singer love the words of this song

  • I just can't stop watching this video! I absolutely love it. I didn't think that there was one for this song. Imagine my joy when I saw that there was one. She was so stylish then it looks like it could have been done yesterday! My favorite song from her and that is the true Motown Sound in pure form. That bass line gets me everytime. Long live James Jamerson!

  • Yes, I was thinking the same thing. She was very stylish. This style is right back again now, too.

  • Motowns best female vocalist. Wasted miming to her material and was also wasted by Berry Gordy in favour of Ross who was always souless. No wonder she left Motown

  • I love all types of music this is another diamond in the crown superbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb,

  • The Best. She is the greatest. I love this song very much and one of my favorite. She is a great singer and She is a God. I love everything that she has and I love her style too much. I enjoyed this video clip very much and it was beautiful. Thank you for putting this up.

  • goddess

  • I was searching for the right word...you hit it on the head!

  • Zeik you are spot on. She looks like she made this song in 2003..She's one of the most beautiful women I ever laid my eyes on! WOW!

  • Lord-she looks so modern and this is from 40 years ago.

  • dose look like she had the heads up on the latest fashion

  • @kellydjelly minus the Hee Haw scenery!

  • @zheik

That's because old styles come back into fashion.

  • When Brenda turns her head to the left she just kills me. I love her style, her attitude and her unigue voice. I remember hearing every sung she sang. I loved all of them. I like the way she looks now while performing reconsider.

  • I like that! When I was 14, I buy my first motown record 1964, the For Tops "can´t help myself"! From this time I can´t help myself...I love MOTOWN

  • Was Brenda Holloway Great or what???

  • She still is

  • I love this song from Brenda. It's FUNKY!

  • I love this song, id love to hear Frank Wilson's demo of this song, 1967 was a good year for Motown

  • WOW! i've just finished watching 8 tunes of this UNBELIEVABLY talented lady! i vaguely remember a song or two of hers when i was a kid in the 60's. WHO WAS HIDING HER!!! must've been some low talent divas and ignorant record execs. if you haven't listened to the rest of her material yet...

DO IT NOW!!!! you won't be disappointed! love you brenda*

  • her hair, makeup, and clothing is beautiful. kind of a mix between tlc's t-boz hair and that classic dress of mary j. blidge. i love it

  • YEP! The Motown divas were ahead of their time, lol! Especially Brenda. ;)

  • oh yeah

  • She looks and sounds FABULOUS!

  • A "lost" classic Motown hit, found here on YouTube. 1967.

  • I can watch this endlessly!!! A favorite song by my favorite singer. Thanks so much for posting!

  • Now I see who Diana Ross was inspired by and copied. Brenda was pure class.....a true diva but NICE.

  • Brenda and Mary Wells were the best female solo vocalists of the sixties. Those ladies had voices like velvet!

  • I THINK YOU have said it all !!!!

  • WOW! Thanks...Its a pleasure seeing vintage footage like this from Ms Holloway......She is and still is the BEST!

  • motown queen!

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!!!my favourite song from this talented lady:)just beutiful

  • cool song

  • As a kid in the 60s I remember Brenda's first hit "Every Little Bit Hurts". I never saw her on TV per say until she made her last record with Motown in 1968. I bought many recordings by her in the 80s and am enjoying the clips of her on YOUTUBE. She's still fine as hell to this day.

  • as could to dance to as any thing in the last 40 years

  • Brenda Holloway. Motown's Lady of Song. She and Mary Wells were incomparable!

  • Man, she looks FINE!

  • ACE TRACK ,, KTF DAVE D
