I would also like to know how much was spent on materials in the bench as shown. Could I get away with slimming it down a bit to lower the cost? Have you ever tried a lower cost design?

The plans are $29.95 plus a low shipping fee. They are on 11x17 sheets and include VERY detailed instructions, a cut list, hardware list, recommended vendors for particular pieces of hardware, and full size paper templates for the bench dogs.
