Ed Gein never used a chainsaw, but did have an obsession with human flesh, wearing the skin of his victims, and cannibalism. The two proven murders were done by guns and rifles. His most famous discovery while police were searching his house was an suit made entirely of human skin, which in turn spawned Leatherface and the TCM.
