sold the Gypsy Fuzz & Megavibe. Fuzz, I thought the Fulltone 69', 70', and the Hartman do better when getting Hendrix tones. They all seem to have a better construction and materials as well.
thanks. yeah thats perfect pecause i mainly play blues. i have an mi audio neo fuzz(germanium)but am looking a silicon fuzz. i think i have just found it.thanks again.
hahahahaha.....i bet they throw rocks at you when you play those 70's stone age riffs. you're truly the by product of inbred barn animals. maybe discovery channel can do a show on you and keep eating cheeseburgers and drink lots of natural ice....it's great for your physique....however, that's not what i'm here to tell you. GOOD NEWS, no not geico. i have suggested to a famous director that you be the body double for gerard depardieu when he gets raped and chopped up in a gay prison flick.
Yeah...this one sounds much better. I cut out offending tones, as opposed to boosting desirable tones. The first one had a brighter guitar...instead of boosting the bass to make it fuller...I cut the treble to make it fuller...and that is the trick!

oh sorry i meant the gypsy fuzz. how does the gypsy sound with humbuckers?
coughlintm 2 years ago
Yeah, I have.. no vids...but the sound is like a Randy Bachman / Guess Who kinda vibe, which is pretty cool!
I like to turn the tone off, and get the Eric Clapton "woman tone". :-)

Adding bass or treble can lead to phase issues.
